That is awesome! Feel free to add our Teaching resources to you menu! I also recently published a book that would be good for studying entitled ARE WE PREACHING “ANOTHER” GOSPEL? How we praise God for what He is doing throughout the earth! C. D. Hildebrand

I just finished your book and seriously, everything in your book is already in my head. I began attending a local fellowship about 2 years ago, that was the most grace based church in the area. I wanted to be a blessing and had hope of finding more fellowship. Unfortunately, it has taken a toll on me, all because of the mixture. I love the people and have gotten to be fairly close to the pastors, but I have been slowly dying again. In fact I haven’t been there for about a month now, going through a religious detox. This church understands and embraces grace but what I am so keenly aware of is the mixture. It only takes a little poison to kill you. I so dislike not being part of a fellowship, or of suddenly disappearing after making an effort to befriend the pastor and others. But for me it’s personal survival. Hearing the gospel is what causes me to grow and to have an abundance, but hearing a mixed message causes me to lose my ability to hear. That is how I understand it. Anyway, I have occasionally thought that maybe I should have something in my home. I have been told by others I should, and I have been given a gift to teach (but I describe it more as proclaiming the gospel message in an inspired way – When I am “hearing” personally, I find a definite gift to speak the message with inspiration). Anyway, I am just thinking that maybe by joining up with you it would give me the catilist to take the step. Also, in all my many church travels, I have never been at a church that did not with explicitly or implicitly teach and embrace tithing. I believe that is the ‘be circumcised’ issue of our day, and I don’t see how any church can be without mixture if they allow that. A little leaven leavens the entire loaf. I feel God showed me it was a superstition and I saw that you used that term for another issue in your book. I never heard anyone use that term before but when God spoke to my heart and said tithing was a superstition (granted, many believers faith is all mixed up in that and God blesses, but it is always our faith that he blesses) it was so succinctly said that it made me laugh. I guess I have to give up hope finding a unmixed message in any church, because Imhave never met one that didn’t teach the tithe. Before I fully understood grace there were two churches I tried to join and was prevented because I thought the spirit was leading me to not compromise on this issue. But I am so with you. Not to be elitist but the simple gospel must be kept pure or it is no longer grace. In Revelations John saw a pure (unmixed) river clear as crystal flowing from the throne (of grace) and the lamb (full of grace and truth).

      Hi, Jerry!
Wow, thanks so much for your kind review. We completely understand the frustrations of trying to find a fellowship without mixture. It is not only frustrating, but discouraging. In what area do you live? Perhaps we know of one near you. If not, you could become part of Studies in Grace and Faith. Also, check out our teaching materials (all free). You might want to hear first the DO YOU KNOW HOW series, followed by the SO NOW WHAT DO I DO? series. We’d also appreciate it if you could review the book on amazon.com and/or barnesandnoble.com. Grace and peace to you and yours!
