Let us run with cheerful patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:1-2

Toward a Better Understanding of Hebrews
For many believers the book of Hebrews is a mystery, perhaps too complicated for devotional study. Others have found golden treasures in isolated verses. Some verses have been taken out of context to the point where the original meaning is lost.
The goal of this study is to make Hebrews understandable by teaching it in context so that we may revive the treasures revealed in its pages.
This is not meant to be an exhaustive study of the book. If you would like an exhaustive study, there are multiple books on Hebrews which will help shed light on things you don’t understand. You will find they do not agree on everything, but overall, they agree on much, and it is upon this agreement that our focus will be, to proclaim Jesus' supremacy and the superiority of the New Covenant.
