Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life;
And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6

The Psalms and Proverbs in Light of Grace
All of the Psalms and Proverbs were written before the New Covenant. We need to keep in mind that the things they longed for we have been freely given through Christ. This does not mean that we cannot enjoy them. Even more so, when we realize their context, we can thank God that we have been given what they desired. We do not seek here to rewrite Scripture. They stand as they are, but just like any passage in the Bible, they must be viewed in context. We hope you will enjoy these starter lessons on evaluating the Psalms in light of grace and that you will enjoy adapting some of your own.
Enjoy!
