In Ephesians 4, we read that God placed certain ministries in the body of Christ to teach us sound doctrine so that we might mature and discern between the truth and heresy. Paul also wrote to Titus that it is the grace of God that teaches us. This means that while teachers must teach truth, it is the grace of God that actually does the work in our hearts to change us.

Studies in Grace and Faith's mission is to preach the gospel TO THE SAVED. The good news is not only for the lost so that they may be saved, but also for those who have received Christ so that we may live abundantly. Paul wrote that his ministry was to testify to the gospel of the grace of God (Acts 20:24), and we know that Paul spent most of his time teaching believers "from house to house" and through his letters to them. We embrace this mission as our calling: to teach and encourage believers that God truly loves them, that He is for them, not against them, that He is who He claims to be, and that He will do what He promises to do.
