But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Welcome to The Top Ten Grace Killers

While God’s grace will always exist, we can kill His grace in our lives, and if you are a teacher or parent, you can kill grace in the lives of those you teach.

Paul wrote in Galatians 2:21, “I do not nullify (reject, bring to nought,  neutralize, violate, frustrate, set aside, cut off) the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.”

God forbid that any believer in Jesus would live in such a way that sets aside the grace of God. Paul declared that if we could make ourselves righteous by following laws, then Jesus didn't need to die. His death was worthless. This is an affront to the cross or Christ.

Not only that, but grace killers will rob us of all that God has so graciously provided for us through His Son. We can begin to think that not only is our salvation contingent on following laws, but that so are all of His promises to us.

There are hundreds of grace killers. This series will point out the most pervasive.

May the Lord set usfree to believe how good God’s good news really is.

Enjoy!

Except for this lesson, The Top Ten Grace Killers is only available in note form.
